CHAPAGURI(a.k.a Ram-don, jjapaguri)

It is a combination of jjapagetti + RTA.

It is said that nothing has been revealed about the time when it first appeared, but it was a recipe that existed on the instant noodle recipe bulletin board of PC Telecom Noonuri in the 1990s, at least since then. The dish was loved by soldiers until it appeared in the media after that day.

The origin of the food seems to have been created by soldiers in the military, as it has spread around the soldiers. This is somewhat persuasive, and as you can see from your experience in the military, there isn't much quantity for bibim Ramen, such as jjapagetina or ghanjamppong, which is used in PX. And even a small quantity was usually exclusive to senior citizens. If society is to buy the insufficient quantity from other mart and make up for it, but that is not possible in military units. Under these circumstances, various attempts would have been made to somehow boil down the jjapagetti that comes into your hands, and among them, the most commonly surplus ramen or noodles with similar and highly provocative flavors were chosen as the ingredients for the combination. And it was this jjapaguri that was born after such a combination attempt.

I didn’t think of going down from the portal’s real-time search term on April 4, 2012. This is because there was an article on the portal site that introduced this. This is because netizens suddenly received attention in the past when they were making related remarks, saying, "When did you post this information as an article?"

In February 2013, somewhere in MBC’s father, Kim Sung-joo, was a national hit when he appeared to boil his son, Kim Min-guk. Kim Seong-joo himself also revealed the recipe via Twitter. That's why it's top of the real-time search word again. He remained firmly in the ranking even amid North Korea's nuclear test and various political issues. In addition, the actual sales volume of Japagetti and RTA increased by more than 78 percent and 20 percent, respectively, in March from a year earlier, while online shopping malls and large supermarkets held events to sell Japagetti and RTAs. (It is said that Nongshim once sold directly in bundles.) Meanwhile, Kim Sung-joo also became a commercial commercial model for Japagetti.

In June 2019, there was a scene in which the movie "The parasite eats a combination of Korean beef and jjapaguri," which was once popular on YouTube.

Despite its considerable popularity, it has not been made into a product. "Each person has a separate way of eating jjapaguri and recipes," a Nongshim official said. "We have no plan to introduce jjapaguri as a single product for the fun of ‘Modify+ Consumer’."
