Nakseongdae Park : Historical Park of Seoul, Korea


77 (Pongcheon-dong 228) in Nakseong-daero, Gwanak-gu, Seoul. It is designated as Seoul Tangible Cultural Heritage No.4.

It is known that Kang Gam-chan, a renowned Goryeo Dynasty hero, was born. It is called Nakseongdae because it is a place where stars are In fact, Nakseongdae was also located in Kaesong, the capital of Goryeo, and it was said to refer to Kang Gam-chan's house in Gaegyeong and called it 'Nukseongdae.' In addition, Nakseongdae in Gaegyeong was a place where stars were separated when Kang Gam-chan died, as opposed to the Nakseongdae in Seoul described in this section.

Inside, there is a statue of Kang Gam-chan in the middle of the park, Anguk Temple and the park. It's been reorganized as before and turned into quite a place to go. On the main road leading up to Nakseongdae, a mural depicting Kang Gam-chan’s life is painted.

Transportation

There is Nakseongdae Station as a nearby station, but in fact, the distance is quite far. You have to walk a little to get to Nakseongdae Station. If you visit for the first time, you may also be hemmed. The safest and fastest way to get there is to come out of Exit 4 and take the Seoul bus Gwanak 02. Nakseong Grand Park (and English Village) is a good place to go. Until 2010, the word "residential sports center" was coined, but the English village was established and the comments were changed, where you can get off.

As everyone knows, Seoul National University is nearby. Therefore, some believe that Seoul National University was blessed by General Kang because it was located next to the birthplace of the old nation that the star fell as one of the most prestigious universities in Korea. Of course, the relocation of Seoul National University's Gwanak campus was not until 1975 and there were scattered colleges and universities around the city before, which is close to giving meaning later.
