Suseong-dong Valley
Suseongdong Valley is a valley on the eastern edge of Mt. Inwangsan in Okin-dong, and it was called Suseong-dong during the Joseon Dynasty. Suseongdong Valley was famous as a vacation spot for nearby scholars and as it was introduced to Dongguk Yejibi High School, a historical geography book, especially when it appeared in Suseong-dong in Jeongseon above. The valley was severely damaged when the Okin crime apartment was built in 1971, but the restoration began in 2011 when the Okin crime apartment was demolished, and many of the former natural valleys were restored.
For reference, the stone bridge giraffe bridge in Jeongseon's painting was removed during the construction of the apartment building, but its shape was found to be relatively intact in a valley next to the apartment building ahead of its demolition in 2009.
